We’re proud to partner with the Atlanta Braves to bring a shared purpose to life by celebrating small businesses in our communities. Thank you, Scott Stearsman, for representing #TeamTruist at the first MVB game of the season 👏. #SmallBizLove
It’s #SmallBusinessMonth, and we celebrated big this weekend with the Atlanta Braves by kicking off the Braves Most Valuable Business program with Truist. We’re bringing purpose to partnership and celebrating small businesses all season long by giving them meaningful branding opportunities and a night off at the ballpark. Small businesses are the heartbeat of our communities, and we’re proud to recognize them at Truist Park. To learn more or nominate a small business, visit www.Braves.com/BravesMVB #SmallBizLove

Our annual Small Business Pulse Survey shows that small business owners are focused on short-term challenges, while putting long-term planning on hold following another year of economic uncertainty. The results also revealed that key Southeastern Markets (Atlanta, Orlando, and Nashville) are facing higher stress and more concern with inflation—but are still confident in growth outlook. Many thanks to our teammates for their dedication to showcasing our purpose with this incredible event! Congratulations to the grant recipients, Centro Community Partners and Immigrants Rising, and to all of the inspiring finalists on their incredible solutions for the communities they serve. #TruistFoundation
Last night, #TruistFoundation had the honor of hosting the second Truist Foundation Inspire Awards. The night was a resounding success with invigorating ideas and compelling stories shared by all our finalists. The innovative technology solutions shared served as a powerful reminder of the purpose behind all that we do at Truist Foundation. It was a privilege to once again collaborate with MIT Solve to showcase nonprofits leveraging their personal experiences, learnings and skills to help underserved small businesses and entrepreneurs adapt to our ever-evolving world. A big congratulations to our top grant recipient AND audience favorite, Centro Community Partners, and our runner up Immigrants Rising. We appreciate everyone who attended in person or virtually to support the nonprofits. Special thanks to Charlotte legend Greg Olsen for serving as event host, Truist’s Chief Consumer and Small Business Banking Officer Dontá Wilson for leading the pre-show, and Truist Financial Chairman and CEO Bill Rogers for supporting our vision for lasting change. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a night to remember!

Truist reports 1Q24 results with net income of $1.1 billion. “We are pleased with the progress and momentum of the business during the first quarter including significant improvement in investment banking and trading revenue due to strength across all our capital markets businesses. Loan demand remains muted which along with continued pressure on deposit costs continues to provide a headwind to overall revenue growth.” — Bill Rogers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Full Truist earnings results and disclosures here: bit.ly/3WaTE4K
