Sarasota, Florida: December, Wednesday 13th, at a who's who of the Sarasota and Manatee Real Estate community Greg Owens, the broker/owner of Keller Williams on the Water Sarasota, was installed as the new President of the Real Estate Association of Sarasota and Manatee (RASM). RASM is in the top 10 of Real Estate associations in Florida and serves over 7,000 members providing education, support and policy interest for Real Estate professionals.
As the incoming President, Greg has set his sights on expanding the outreach efforts to determine how the association can best serve the expansive membership and continuing successful lobbying efforts locally and in Tallahassee. Sarasota and Manatee has seen the benefit of these efforts by protecting the property rights of homeowners and maintaining low property taxes. Greg explained, “The Realtor Association of Sarasota and Manatee has a long and rich history of serving our community. Working with our great leadership team and staff the goal is to continue that positive influence and enhance it though out 2018. We are here to serve our community and to uphold our duty to protect their personal property rights."
In the associations goals, Greg touched on expanding education efforts, setting high professionalism standards and opening an office into downtown Bradenton. As part of the outreach efforts a new office will be a convenient space for members to leverage the benefits of the association, especially the education and networking events.
