Keller Williams on the Water Sarasota and Keller Williams Bradenton Team Up To Build Homes with Habitat for Humanity-- Friday, March 23, 2018 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. WHAT: Keller Williams on the Water Sarasota and Keller Williams Bradenton are teaming up with Giveback Homes and Habitat for Humanity on a Sarasota build day to work on two homes for local families. 200 Tarpon homeowner is Ana In 2010, Ana and her 3 children fled their home with only the clothes on their back. They moved into a local shelter for victims of domestic violence. Her divorce was final in 2011. Ana earned her Certified Nursing Assistant certificate in 2016. She works as a full-time nurse at an assisted living facility and supplements her income by cleaning houses in order to provide for her family. 214 Tarpon homeowner is Suzanne Suzanne is a Benefit Verification Specialist for multiple hospitals. She is a single mother raising 5 children in a three-bedroom apartment. Space is a big concern as well as the health of her children. She has ongoing medical expenses, two of her daughters struggle with genetic connective tissue disorders and another has asthma which is triggered by mold in the apartment. WHO: Interviews are available with volunteers. There will be approximately 30 volunteers working on the two homes.
