Sarasota, FL – March 16, 2018 – The weekend of March 10-11, the Players Dance Company, under the direction for Brian Finnerty and Logan Junkins, competed at the Bravo! National Dance and Talent Competition in Fort Myers, Fl. Dancers Sami Wilde and Rylee Martin performed two duets in the Intermediate age 15-16 level. Wilde also performed a Lyrical Solo at the same level. Out of a possible five medals, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Elite High Gold and Platinum, all three dances took home Elite High Gold Medals. The Jazz Duet “Beehive Dance” choreographed by Finnerty took home extra awards! They won 4th Place Overall in the Intermediate age 15-16 Duet category, as well as a special judges award, the “Keeping Old School Alive” Award.
