[Sarasota, FL] SRQ MEDIA is pleased to announce the ProjecTHINK Conference, a collaborative community initiative designed to explore the world of innovation and creativity in learning. This year’s two-day conference will be hosted on the campus of the Ringling College of Art and Design on March 1-2, 2019. Now in its second year, ProjecTHINK gives educators, professionals and individuals new tools to challenge perceptions and jumpstart innovation in creative thinking. The ProjecTHINK Conference kicks off on Friday March 1, 2019 from 5:30-7pm with a keynote presentation by celebrated TEDx, innovation facilitator and global speaker on weaving creativity into education Ismet Mamnoon, Founder of Beyonder. “We are thrilled to welcome Ismet Mamnoon as our keynote speaker for this year’s ProjecThink Conference,” says SRQ MEDIA President and CEO Lisl Liang. “With a background as a financial consultant and serial entrepreneur, she was first drawn to the field of creativity and innovation when she became a parent and has since then developed an incredible acumen for translating creativity from theory into practice.” Ismet Mamnoon currently works across the globe as a facilitator and trainer for creative thinking. As the founder of Beyonder, an education-focused organization, Mamnoon’s work in the parenting field has been featured in TIME Magazine’s special edition on the ‘Science of Creativity’ and has been the subject of publications, TEDx talks, and conferences worldwide. The Kick Off Keynote Speaker evening program with Mamnoon will also feature presentations by Dr. Larry Thompson, President of Ringling College of Art & Design, Jennifer Vigne, President of the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, and Chris Laney, Director of Education and Community Investment, CareerSource Suncoast. On Saturday March 2, 2019, ProjecTHINK continues the conversation with Mamnoon from 8:30am to 1pm through hands-on, immersive workshops in storytelling, fine art, motion graphics, gaming and printmaking facilitated by both she and the faculty of the Ringling College of Art. The INOV8 arts workshops are held at various locations throughout the Ringling College campus, giving conference-goers the opportunity to do a deep dive into the creative process through the lens of making art. The conference concludes with Lunch on the Lawn from 1-2pm. ProjectTHINK is powered and engineered by SRQ MEDIA in partnership with the Ringling College of Art and Design, the Education Foundation of Sarasota, and CareerSource Suncoast.
