[Sarasota, FL] SRQ MEDIA will host the 2019 RocketKids Modern Education Symposium on the topic of “Preparing Our Kids for Success” on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 from 5:30-7pm at the SRQ Studios at 331 South Pineapple Avenue in Downtown Sarasota. The program will feature a panel discussion by representatives from private and charter schools in Sarasota and Manatee counties. The panelists will engage in a discussion about education in our region by sharing the teaching philosophies, curriculum and programs at each school and how they are best preparing our children for their lives after high school. “The pathway to success for students is a constantly changing reality that deserves meaningful conversation,” says SRQ MEDIA President and CEO Lisl Liang. “The educators joining us for our second annual Modern Education Symposium will share how they are transforming their students’ experiences both in and out of the classroom to prepare them for the future.” The 2019 RocketKids Modern Education Symposium panelists include Cindy Hoffman, Principal of Island Village Montessori School; Laura Murphy, Director of Admissions/Alumni Affairs at The Out-Of-Door Academy; Tim Seldin, Headmaster of NewGate School; Christine Bradford, Elementary and Middle School Principal at Sarasota Christian School and Siobhan Young, CEO/Executive Director of St. Martha Catholic School.
