Gary Curry, originally from Michigan, relocated with his family to Sarasota in 1986 and founded Roofing by Curry in the same year. Starting from a small office in his backyard, Gary took on jobs himself with a few dedicated employees, including his son Jesse, who began working at the company as well.

As the business grew, Roofing by Curry moved to a larger space on Clark Road, which included a warehouse. The expansion continued, and soon Gary had to rent additional office space next door to accommodate the growing team. By 2017, the company had outgrown this space as well and moved to its current location in Interstate Park, providing ample room for its 130 employees.

Today, Roofing by Curry completes both commercial and residential projects, specializing in repairs, replacements, and new construction of metal, shingle, and tile roofs. We also offer gutter and soffit services and are proud to be the only certified installer of Tesla's Solar Roofs in the area. With three generations now involved in the business, Roofing by Curry continues to uphold its legacy of quality and dedication to the Sarasota community.
