We are composed of four members who collectively bring unique cranial and spinal expertise covering the entire breadth and scope in the field of clinical neurological scirence, including skull base approaches for tumors and aneurysms as well as routine and complex instrumentation for spine trauma and degenerative diseases. Dr. William Olivero, Professor of Neurosurgery, has over 30 years of experience as a surgeon; he is fellowship trained at the Burrows Neurological Institute and has extensive experience in cranial surgery, particularly of complex brain tumors. Dr. Huan (John) Wang, Associate Professor of Neurosurgery, is fellowship trained at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School; he brings unique expertise in the areas of skull base surgery and endovascular approaches to the brain and spine. Dr. Arash Farahvar is fellowship trained at the University of Miami School of Medicine and has extensive experience in complex spine surgery and deep brain stimulation; he has a PhD in the area of stem cell transplantation for the brain and spinal cord, particularly in the area of brain and spinal cord injury. Dr. Bonnie Wang is an internal physician fellowship trained in Neurocritical Care at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine; she specializes in trating patients in the intensive care unit with critical neurological diseases including stroke, brain trauma and debilitating degenerative neurological diseases.
