ALSO Youth provides activities and support services for LGBTQ+ youth, their allies, and families. All of our services and activities are provided free of cost. Our mission is to empower LGBTQ+ youth and their allies to create inclusive and safe communities. We participate in outreach and training activities in the community, to share our mission and message so adults can be educated on important LGBTQ+ issues and know the resources available to LGBTQ+ youth and families. Our mental health counseling program provides free services to youth and families in need. Weekly peer support groups are held at the Sarasota Center. We recently expanded services in Manatee County and have a new youth center in Bradenton, with half-day Summer Camp one week in June and One week in July.
