Our Work is to strategically address food waste, increase food access, and address climate change through community-driven solutions.
By addressing food waste, we address both hunger and climate change. Between 30-40 percent of the food supply is wasted, while 44 million people in the US are food insecure. It makes sense to redirect food we already have to fill that gap.
We partner with farms to harvest excess produce, collect excess or unharvested backyard fruit, and pick up leftover farmers market produce. Instead of going to waste, this fresh, healthy produce is donated to food pantries and organizations throughout our community feeding people who are food insecure.
