Since 1987, The Van Wezel Foundation has partnered with the City of Sarasota to foster a connection between the city, the people, the bay and the spirit of human creativity. Through this collaboration and the generosity of our donors, the Foundation has provided grants of more than $14 million to invest in arts education and capital projects at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. You can inspire young minds. Your donation to the Van Wezel Foundation’s Friends Program will ensure over 30,000 students receive a well-rounded education each year, 400 teachers have the tools and resources to reach every student in their classroom, and every community member has access to meaningful arts experiences.
