The NewGate School is an independent, non-profit, international, college-preparatory Montessori International Baccalaureate school for students age 18 months through the 12th grade. As a Montessori school, we nurture intelligence, curiosity, and imagination while supporting and developing each students’ unique talents. Our goal is to prepare students for both university and life. The NewGate School teaches universal values and instills a global perspective, responsible citizenship, and encourages an entrepreneurial spirit. The aim is to graduate young people who are balanced between their knowledge and character: life-long learners, critical thinkers, and active leaders in their local community, their country, and the world. As The Lab School of The Montessori Foundation, NewGate serves both its own students, and Montessori schools worldwide through its role in curriculum and program development, the embodiment of principles of best practice in Montessori education, and professional development for Montessori school administrators.
