[Sarasota, FL] SRQ MEDIA invites the community to nominate individuals for the 2021 SRQ Magazine Good Hero Philanthropic Awards. These awards recognize individuals with hearts of giving who have made a significant impact with local nonprofit organizations — from volunteers and board members to individual nonprofit staff members and donors. These individuals serve as ambassadors of the incredible giving back spirit of the region.
Good Hero Philanthropic Award Honorees will be recognized at the SB2: Philanthropic Agenda and Good Hero Awards Luncheon on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota. This event will explore the dynamic and ever changing world of nonprofits—what's trending, who's innovating, what’s new—from the perspectives of our regional community and private foundations. The panel discussion features community and private foundations in the region. The event will feature the return of Keynote Speaker Mark Brewer, President and CEO of the Central Florida Foundation to kick off this season’s SB2 | The Giving Coast series of luncheon symposia.
In addition to being recognized at the Good Hero awards ceremony, the stories of the individual Good Hero honorees will be announced in the May 2022 edition of SRQ Magazine.
The deadline to nominate individuals for the Good Hero Philanthropic Award is Friday, September 17, 2021. Click here to nominate an individual or visit SRQMAG.COM/GOODHERO.
