Experience Required:
Necessary Experience & Skills: • Demonstrated success in face-to-face solicitation of donors. • Knowledge and firsthand experience of donor relations, the donor cycle, prospect research, and donor pipelines. • Direct experience with one or more of the areas outlined in Primary Responsibilities #2 above. • A genuine enthusiasm for relationship-building and connecting with people to inspire them to support the Pines mission. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to display the highest level of professionalism, diplomacy, tact, and compassion in all interactions with donors, prospects, board members, colleagues, and the general public. • Excellent organizational skills, including ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, and take initiative. • Ability to collect and utilize data to enhance proposals and reporting. • Ability to problem solve, work independently, but also thrive in a dynamic team setting. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in face-to-face solicitation of donors and directly creating and managing fundraising strategies within a nonprofit organization. A minimum of 5 years’ professional experience with one or more of the areas outlined in Primary Responsibilities #2. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but experience may be substituted for degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and platforms such as DonorPerfect and Constant Contact. This is a full-time, salaried, in-office position. Some evening and weekend hours will be required. The salary range is $60,000-$75,000. A full range of benefits include healthcare, dental, vision, PTO, and a retirement plan.
