The annual event will be held Friday, March 20, 2020, 6- 10 p.m., on the grounds of the beautiful Ringling estate. Wine Walk has become one of Sarasota’s most popular events with proceeds going to the Ca’d’Zan preservation fund. Ca’d’Zan, built from 1924-26, is the home of John and Mable Ringling. Ca’ d’Zan stands as a testament to the American Dream of the Roaring Twenties. Inspired by and designed in the Venetian Gothic style of the palazzos that ring the Venice canals, this dazzling palatial mansion perfectly captures the splendor and romance of the Italy the Ringlings so loved. To honor its owner, they named it Ca’ d’Zan, “House of John,” in the dialect of their beloved Venice. Guests at this year’s Wine Walk will receive a commemorative wineglass in a specialty bag. As they stroll through the estate grounds, they will enjoy pairings of wine, delectable cuisine and entertainment at each station, eventually arriving at the Ca’d’Zan terrace where the air will be filled with live music. The mansion will be open that evening until 9:30 p.m. for viewing. VIP guests will arrive at 5:30 and enjoy valet parking and a special Champagne toast welcome. They will also be treated to a special total Wine VIP stop along the route and then have the opportunity to mix and mingle in an exclusive VIP Lounge on the Ca’d’Zan terrace, overlooking Sarasota Bay. VIPs will experience special cuisine, distinctive wine blends and dedicated service staff. Tickets are available at $140.00 General Admission and $210.00 VIP at www.ringling.org/events/wine-walk-ca-dzan-0 or by calling 941-358-3180.
