As passenger numbers continue to increase at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, and the busy holiday season approaches, the airport will reopen amenities to full-service operation by this Sunday, November 15th. These amenities include the valet parking, premium shade lot, shuttle bus service to long-term, and the opening of nearly all restaurants and gift shops including Dewar’s Clubhouse Bar, the PGA Tour Shop, Dunkin Donuts, Gulf Coast TravelMart, CNBC Gift Shop, Starbucks and Gulf Breeze Café.
“In the last month, we have seen our traffic bounce back much faster than anticipated. With the busy holiday season approaching, and the recent announcement that Southwest Airlines will start service at SRQ in early 2021, we want to make sure that travelers have access to all the conveniences and amenities that make our airport so great. With 10 airlines serving over 35 destinations, it is our goal to provide the local community a choice in travel that is clean, safe, convenient and easy to travel through, while providing all of the amenities you would find at a much larger airport,” stated Rick Piccolo, President, CEO of the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport.
