The statewide organization recognizes outstanding work by public relations professionals, including best practices and campaigns in public relations and communications. FPRA honored Vieira for her achievements on behalf of Caldwell Trust Company, in support of the not-for-profit organization InStride Therapy. The Sarasota County-based InStride Therapy has teamed with Easter Seals to provide equine-based therapy to benefit the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of its clients. “InStride’s slogan, ‘Horses Help Humans,’ says it all,” Vieira said. “Their activities are a perfect fit for ‘Caldwell Cares,’ a philanthropic program through which Caldwell Trust Company and its staff donate time and treasure to support local organizations.” FPRA recognized Vieira’s work in chairing “Black Tie and Blue Jeans, An Equestrian Gala,” a highly successful fundraiser for InStride, with two awards: the Judges’ Award, presented for an outstanding entry that achieves maximum results with a minimum amount of money, and the Award of Distinction, which designates entries that meet FPRA’s rigorous standards of excellence. “Our mission is dedicated to reaching new heights for those we serve,” said Tom Waters, Easterseals Southwest Florida president and CEO said. “We get there through the selfless generosity of community leaders who help us fund our programs.
