Southwest Airlines Expands Schedule at SRQ Contact Name: Helen Ditzel Contact Email: helen.ditzel@srq-airport.com Contact Phone Number: 941-359-2770 Southwest Airlines announced today they will be adding three additional nonstop routes to their schedule at the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ). The routes will be Saturdays only from March 13th through April 10th. Destinations will include Columbus, OH (CMH), Indianapolis, IN (IND), and Pittsburgh, PA (PIT). The new seasonal service will be in addition to the previously announced daily service to Baltimore/Washington, MD (BWI), Chicago, IL (MDW), Nashville, TN (BNA), and Houston, TX (HOU). These destinations are currently available to book online at Southwest.com and tickets can be purchased as far out as mid-August. Southwest Airlines, whose stock ticker symbol is LUV, will begin service at SRQ starting on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2021. “It is exciting to see Southwest Airlines adding new service at SRQ. With 7 destinations now being offered, the community will have more choices when making their travel plans.
