JFCS Giving Out 1,800 Meals to Those Impacted by COVID-19 Meals Distribution in 5 Locations Contact Name: Karen Pharo Contact Email: kpharo@jfcs-cares.org Contact Phone Number: 9414006685 In an ongoing effort to support those impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, JFCS will be providing 1,800 meals from Paradise Grill, at 5 different locations, during the week of March 29th. All locations will be utilizing low contact drive-through or walk-up procedures to distribute meals that will include: sautéed chicken breast, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a cookie. All meals will be served in Styrofoam boxes sealed in plastic and will include napkins and cutlery. Bradenton: Hunger’s End and the Blessing Bags Project will be serving meals at 1802 14th St. W. from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1st. Englewood: Living hope Church will be serving meals at San Casa Park (6791 San Casa Dr.) from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. and at Indian Mound Park (210 Winson Ave.) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30th. North Port: Awaken Church will be serving meals on-site at the church (2573 North Toledo Blade Blvd) from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1st. Sarasota (Newtown): JFCS staff and volunteers will be serving meals at the Betty J. Johnson North Sarasota Public Library in Newtown (2801 Newtown Blvd.) from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 1st. Venice: One Christ Won City Church will be serving meals during the 9:30 a.m. Coffee Talk at the Venice Train Depot (303 E. Venice Ave) and 11:00 a.m. at the Center for Hope (2395 Shamrock Dr.) on Tuesday, March 30th.
