Christal M. Cherry, CEO of The Board Pro, will show how boards can learn how to work with the CEO and staff to ground organizational values and practices so that they are inclusive. She will also share her skills to train boards on how to embrace their power to change the world. The United States has 1.5 million nonprofits, which means there are 1.5 million boards. That's a lot of power. You will not want to miss this action packed discussion and be inspired by her knowledge and energy. “The AFP Southwest Florida Chapter is thrilled to welcome Christal Cherry as our keynote presenter in August. Cherry is a nationally recognized nonprofit executive and professionally trained fundraiser. With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector, she has supported higher education institutions, human services organizations and faith based missions.
