The Players Centre announces new logo, website Contact Name: Amanda Heisey Contact Email: amandah@theplayers.org Contact Phone Number: 9413652494 Sarasota, FL – August 14, 2021 – The Players Centre for Performing Arts is excited to announce a new logo and website that reflects a new chapter in our 92-year run. Seeking a fresh look, we partnered with Grapevine Communications, spending months developing a sleek and modern look that symbolizes who we are and where we’re going. The website redesign of theplayers.org would not be possible without the generous financial support of the John and Tana Sandefur Foundation through the Community Foundation of Sarasota County who empowered this vision. Our site’s modernization comes at a time in which The Players moves into a temporary home at the Crossings at Siesta Key, with all eyes centered on our future move to Lakewood Ranch’s Waterside Place. With a clean design, this mobile-responsive and fast website will help Players patrons navigate with ease. The new logo brings The Players Centre into the future. The design isn’t a complete departure from our previous logo as it still maintains the same dark blue but is now surrounded by more vibrant, lighter shades of blue. This look better reflects our growing presence in Lakewood Ranch and the beautiful natural environment we’re surrounded by here in Florida. Furthermore, the curtains in our logo clearly reflect an organization involved in the performing arts. Whether you’re staring out of the curtains or into them, this imaging shows our commitment to entertaining, educating and engaging the community through high-quality live theatre. Following our 92nd season announcement last week, we’re excited to utilize our new imaging to power this new era at The Players Centre.
