Eric Rigler, the Original Piper from the films Titanic and Braveheart, Joins The Venice Symphony at A Night at the Oscars January 19, 2022 - The Venice Symphony presents A Night at the Oscars, February 4 at 7:30 pm and Feb. 5 at 3:30 and 7:30 pm at the Venice Performing Arts Center. Music Director Troy Quinn will lead the orchestra in a program of unforgettable music from the movies including The Godfather, Rocky, Forrest Gump, Star Trek, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and more. “These are the greatest songs ever written for the movies that either garnered an Academy Award or nomination for their contribution to film music,” said Quinn. “This concert is most exciting as we will be performing all original orchestrations along with world-renowned piper Eric Rigler as he reprises his solos on Titanic and Braveheart.
