Girls Inc. is committed to helping meet the increasing mental health needs in the community. Therapeutic support services are provided to every girl and family enrolled in our programs through the Family Strengthening Program (FSP). A continuum of services is provided by the FSP and is designed to address the social-emotional health of girls while strengthening a family’s communication through awareness, parenting tools, behavioral interventions, and mental health referrals to community resources. To ensure that all girls have a comprehensive support system with access to both academic and emotional support services, Girls Inc. has regularly scheduled summer programming as well as the Family Strengthening Program.
