We love this place. Walked in 4 years ago as a total beginner, and still having fun. Met my wife here and now we dance as partners. Absolutely adore Tim and Tiana, the co-owners, who are also fantastic instructors.

I first attended FADS on a introductory Christmas special. After the 3rd lesson I was hooked...learning how to dance, ballroom style, is not cheap..with the right instructor though, it's well worth the cost..FADS makes sure you are paired with the right instructor, for you...many of the instructors are award winning dancers who, themselves, have been trained by the best...
One doesn't only learn how to put one foot in front of the other..you also gain confidence, poise, as well as a boost in your self esteem...your brain benefits, as well as your body..I also lost 30 pounds in the process...even if you only learn one dance routine, you will come out ahead...

I do not recommend this studio for children. An adult male dancer picked my 8 year old child up and kissed her on the face after a performance. This person was not known to my child, until the day of the performance. I reached out by email to say this was not okay with me, the response was unprofessional and the behavior was excused. A simple, thanks for bringing this to our attention would have sufficed. As a parent I feel this is not a safe studio for kids or anyone who is concerned about consent.

Decided to sign up for ballroom dance lessons with my husband here at Fred Astaire's. We were greeted by friendly staff and have been greeted by friendly faces every time we've entered for private lessons. Dancing lessons are not cheap that's for certain so if this is something you want to commit to expect to spend at least over $400 for about 4 private lessons. The staff is always happy always full of energy and make everyone that enters feel very welcome, that I appreciate. I do understand that this is a place that needs to make money and all these wonderful dance instructors are dancers themselves and have competitions to attend to. The only thing that I don't like is the used car salesman type vibe that you get at a certain point when your instructor sits down and tries to show you the next package that you need to buy being in sales for many years I know that feeling I know that set up and it did kind of put a kink in my enjoyment of our dance lessons, with that said instructors here are amazing and definitely worth the price.
