Seth Carter Wins DutchCrafters’ Prestigious President’s Award Contact Name: Debra Gingerich Contact Email: debra@jmxbrands.com Contact Phone Number: 9413775112 Sarasota, Fla.— CEO and Founder Jim Miller presented the 2023 President’s Award at DutchCrafters’ annual employee awards celebration to Seth Carter, product management and ecommerce manager. The President’s Award is the gold medal of staff awards given by DutchCrafters, the leading retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com. The recipient of this honor is chosen for demonstrating value to DutchCrafters by contributing to the company’s full vision for delivering excellence. Special consideration includes leadership beyond the job description, strategically analyzing and improving teams and systems, significantly impacting the company’s bottom line, and being a constant role model for the company’s core values: authenticity, creativity, excellence, giving, sustainability. “This award is about character, commitment and results,” said Miller. “I look for ongoing contributions and growth, with special attention to a meaningful quantitative impact within the last year. Though several people and teams contributed, the credit for DutchCrafters’ successful breakthrough to a healthy bottom line in 2023 goes to the leadership of Seth Carter.” Carter, an alum of Indiana University East and 2020 winner of DutchCrafters’ Rookie of the Year Award, motivated his team of product managers to be aggressive in fine-tuning vendor partnerships and product marketing strategies while always delivering excellence. In 2023, he was charged with thinking outside the box to restructure teams and resolve challenges resulting in sustained healthy revenues. He focused on adjusting systems, teams, pricing and practices, then aligning all the variables to build the right path to quantifiable success. “Managing vendor relationships and strategies goes a long way in achieving our revenue and profitability goals,” said Carter. “We partner with 150 vendors to market 15,000 products. We are tasked with developing the right market positioning for each product. This means creating effective presentations, maximizing efficient and effective advertising, and formulating appropriate price points.” Miller added, “In 2023, the impact has been $1.01M to our bottom line. Seth, you’re a ‘Million Dollar Man.’ Thank you for your leadership in making major impact to the health and sustainability of DutchCrafters.”
