Dr. Alex Smithers is a Doctor of Oriental Medicine and has received extensive postgraduate training in regenerative injection therapies through the American Association of Orthopedic Medicine (AAOM) and is one of only a few doctors in Florida using Prolozone Therapy with huge success. A native of Sarasota, Dr. Smithers’ family has a long and well-known history in the community. He is committed to achieving positive results for his patients and is considered an expert among his peers in PRP, Prolotherapy and other regenerative therapies using high-definition Ultrasound.
