About

Sarasota Children’s Museum is a nonprofit organization on a mission to ignite curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through joyful hands-on play. We bring children and families together to explore, discover, and learn through science, technology, engineering, art, and math—STEAM.

Our mobile museum, the STEAM Machine, brings interactive learning experiences to schools, community events, and neighborhood gatherings. Through building, experimenting, creating, and problem-solving, children discover new interests and practice skills that support lifelong learning.

We are also developing our Wilkinson campus as a hub for hands-on exploration, family learning, and community collaboration, as we fully develop our museum to serve the region. Our vision is a welcoming place where every child and family can explore, learn, and grow together.
