SARASOTA, Fla. (April 9, 2025) – The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Leadership Sarasota Class of 2026. This highly respected program is designed for professionals eager to deepen their understanding of Sarasota, expand their network, and enhance their leadership skills while making a lasting impact on the community.

For 40 years, Leadership Sarasota has connected and developed local leaders by providing an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the region’s industries, challenges, and decision-makers. Participants engage in hands-on experiences, face-to-face discussions with influential leaders, and a class project that leaves a lasting mark on the community.

“Leadership Sarasota truly opens doors for its participants, providing them with unique insights into the community,” said Pete Bartosik, Leadership Sarasota & YPG Manager. “Not only do they gain behind-the-scenes access, but they also form strong bonds within their cohort. These relationships, built through Leadership Sarasota, are meant to last—and we strive to keep participants connected and engaged even after the program concludes.”

Through this immersive, 10-month experience, participants gain valuable leadership and teamwork skills, broaden their perspectives, and build relationships that extend far beyond the program. Leadership Sarasota equips and empowers leaders to take on key roles in shaping Sarasota’s future.
