Description

Job Summary
This position is responsible for the creation and production of high-quality media to support the College's marketing and communications efforts. Primary responsibilities include videography, photography, digital editing and development of digital visual assets for use across web, advertising and institutional platforms.
This position also supports the management and maintenance of digital displays, including monitors and marquees. Collaboration with the Marketing team to execute creative projects that align with the College's brand, enrollment goals and strategic priorities is key.

Applicants may be asked to demonstrate any or all of the following duties:
• Produces, shoots and edits video and photography assets for marketing campaigns, academic programs, events and institutional initiatives.
• Works with the Assistant Director, Marketing to coordinate policies and procedures for digital production. Safeguards adherence to the College's digital procedures.
• Develops and maintains a library of visual assets, including video footage, photography and digital media files for ongoing marketing use.
• Collaborates with the Assistant Director, Marketing and creative team to concept, plan and execute visual storytelling projects that support enrollment and brand initiatives.
• Edits and formats video content for multiple platforms, including web, digital advertising, presentations and internal communications.
• Operates and maintains video, photography, lighting and audio equipment; stays current on industry trends and emerging technologies related to digital media production.
• Manages andmaintains campus digital displays, including electronic marquees and internal monitors, ensuring timely and accurate content updates.
• Coordinates scheduling, logistics and on-site production support for video and photography shoots, including campus events and special projects.
• Ensures all visual content aligns with institutional branding, accessibility standards and copyright compliance.
• Provides consultation and support to departments regarding video and photography needs for marketing-related projects.
• Works outside of normal business hours as needed to support events (such asgraduation),media production and institutional priorities.
• Uses content management systems and internal platforms to support distribution of visual media assets.
• Instructs and utilizes interns and student employees at the direction of the Assistant Director, Marketing on digital productions, including videography,andphotography.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Responsible for photography and videography when professional photographer and/or videographer is not hired.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director, Marketing.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Digital Media, Film, Communications, Marketing or related field from a four-year college or university and three years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience?
Supervisory Experience:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10 and 100. Ability to use basic units of American money and common measures of weight, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to work with formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software, as well as experience with Adobe Creative Suite, content management systems (CMS), and video editing tools. Demonstrated experience with current social media platforms, including creating and managing video content, and working knowledge of CMS platforms.

Responsible for computers and technology that is used to complete the requirements of the position. Responsible for video and photography equipment, along with their accessories.
