The 26 West Entrepreneurship Center is an innovation hub that is open to the public and located on the campus of State College of Florida in Bradenton. Its mission is to develop people, grow businesses, and drive the local economy. The 26 West Entrepreneurship Center offers business services for local entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Position Overview

The Personal Branding Lab at the 26 West Entrepreneurship Center is a unique concept that supports entrepreneurs, students, and members of our community with workshops and classes for personal and professional development. In this role, you will lead face-to-face workshops and classes on various aspects of personal branding, including crafting the perfect elevator pitch, dressing appropriately in professional settings, networking, negotiating skills, executive presence, succession planning, and more. You may also be responsible for creating and developing content tailored to specific areas of personal branding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role is part of the non-credit offerings at the 26 West Entrepreneurship Center at State College of Florida, meaning workshops and classes can range from single sessions to multiple meetings, without the commitment of a semester-long format. Participants include client companies, adult learners, and students in specific programs. Some sessions may take place during evening hours. This is a contract position that provides schedule flexibility based on our clients' needs. The workshops and classes take place in person on State College of Florida campuses or at client locations.

• Proven experience in personal branding, business, coaching, marketing, or a related field.

• Demonstrated success in building and managing your own personal brand.

• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to make concepts like personal branding come alive for participants.

• Presence to engage and inspire diverse groups of learners in an interactive and creative environment.

• Previous academic experience is not required.
