CareerSource Suncoast Awarded $10,000 Grant from Fifth Third Bank to Support Veteran Services Program
Sarasota, FL (June, 2026) – CareerSource Suncoast (CSS) has announced it has received a $10,000 grant from Fifth Third Bank to support its Veteran Services program. The funding will help expand CareerSource Suncoast’s ability to connect with the estimated 65,000 veterans living in Manatee County and Sarasota County.
This grant strengthens CareerSource Suncoast’s ability to provide specialized workforce services for veterans and eligible spouses, including veteran’s priority access to career coaching, job placement, resume writing, mock interviews, and housing assistance.
“This grant allows us to continue providing critical services, like our Financial Freedom Workshops, to local veterans. These free virtual workshops, hosted by Fifth Third Bank financial experts, provide veterans and their families advice on subjects like creating a budget, saving, investing, building credit, mortgages, and more” said Curt Preisser, Communications & Marketing Manager. The CareerSource Suncoast Veteran Services team works closely with local veteran organizations, social service agencies, local governments and faith-based institutions to support those who have served our country.
