Community Foundation of Sarasota County Awards Grant to Easterseals Southwest Florida to Upgrade its Case Management System
SARASOTA, Fla. – April 18, 2025– Easterseals Southwest Florida (Easterseals) is excited to announce the receipt of a generous grant in the amount of $5,000.00 from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County to upgrade its case management tracking system. This funding will support a much-needed update that will streamline how Easterseals delivers services, offering significant benefits to individuals and families served, as well as to staff who access vital information. Funding for this grant is provided by the James Franklin Warnell & Dorothy J. Warnell Fund.
As Easterseals has continued to grow, so has the need for a more sophisticated, centralized software system. The new case management platform will consolidate all client-related information—such as diagnostic testing, scheduling, intake forms and case notes—into a single, user-friendly system.
“We are incredibly grateful for the support from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County,” said Nicole Murby, MS CCC-SLP, Vice President of Programs at Easterseals Southwest Florida. “As our client base has grown, our current tracking system can no longer handle the volume of information to track client information. This new software system will provide a faster, more coordinated care to our clients and staff.”
Among the key improvements is a singular intake form that will streamline the onboarding process for families, allowing them to access services more quickly. Staff will also benefit from having real-time access to essential information, helping them collaborate more efficiently and support clients more effectively. The upgraded system reflects Easterseals’ ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in serving individuals with disabilities across Southwest Florida.
