[Sarasota, FL] — Girls Inc. of Sarasota County is proud to announce its 36th Annual Luncheon, a celebration of our girls, our impact, and the community that fuels both. The luncheon will take place on Friday, April 10 at The Ora, with doors opening at 10:30 a.m. for a special shopping experience at the “Dream Harbor Boutique”, followed by the program at 11:30 a.m.

This annual gathering brings together community leaders, supporters, and advocates to celebrate the power and potential of girls, while recognizing those who have made a lasting impact in advancing opportunities for young people.

The 2026 honorees include:

Visionary Honoree: Ken and JoAnn Johns

She Knows Where She’s Going Honorees: Charlie Ann Syprett and Terri Najmolhoda

Strong, Smart, and Bold Leadership Award Honorees: Jacki B. and Melanie L. High School Seniors and Project Accelerate Participants

These honorees represent the very best of leadership, resilience, and commitment to creating a brighter future for the next generation. Through their work, their example, and their leadership, they inspire girls to lead with confidence, pursue their goals, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.

Proceeds from the luncheon directly support Girls Inc.’s life-changing programs, which focus on academic success, healthy living, and leadership development. These programs equip girls with the skills and confidence they need to navigate challenges and achieve their full potential.
