(SARASOTA, FL) Jewish Family and Children Services of the Suncoast (JFCS) announces a $1 million donation from Mr. Larry Greenspon to underwrite eight human services programs operating from their main facility located at 2688 Fruitville Rd, Sarasota. The building’s newly renovated Family Wellness Wing will be named in his honor.

Mr. Greenspon states, “I believe in the Jewish tradition of helping others and have lived my life giving back, especially to organizations that offer ways people of all faiths can better relate to one another. I provided funds for tennis centers in Israel and the new sports complex at the Jewish Federation of Sarasota-Manatee. Now, I want to help transform lives through the exceptional, comprehensive programs of JFCS.”

JFCS provides a continuum of support services addressing mental health, substance abuse, veteran assistance, aging, and family stability issues. These services are offered to youth and families of all faiths in Sarasota and Manatee counties and beyond.
