JFCS Suncoast Celebrates Forty Years of Impact at Hope in Bloom
SARASOTA, FL (February 25, 2026) Jewish Family & Children’s Service of the Suncoast (JFCS) will celebrate their 40th anniversary at this year’s Hope in Bloom. Taking place on Sunday, March 29, at Marie Selby Botanical Garden, this brunch celebration brings JFCS supporters together to honor four decades of compassionate service and continued impact.
Guided by Jewish values, JFCS supports vulnerable community members of all faiths by helping them build resilience and achieve the social and economic stability needed for long‑term mental health and wellbeing. Founded in 1986, the nonprofit began with a focus on assisting local Jewish immigrants and older adults. Over time, it has grown into a comprehensive multi‑service organization offering counseling, financial assistance, youth and family programs, veteran services, and specialized support for older adults and Holocaust survivors.
“Reaching forty years is both a celebration and a recommitment,” says Dr. Helene Lotman, President & CEO of JFCS of the Suncoast. “JFCS was built on the belief that every person deserves dignity, stability, and hope, and that belief continues to guide us as we grow alongside the evolving needs of our community.”
Hope in Bloom co‑chairs Marion Levine and Sasha Rosin invite the community to join in celebrating this milestone year and the seeds of hope JFCS plants for individuals and families in need. This year’s event will also honor Marc and Eve Kanoff for their leadership and years of service advancing the JFCS mission. Guests will enjoy a beautiful brunch, inspiring stories from clients and staff, and a look ahead at JFCS’s vision for the future. Proceeds from Hope in Bloom directly support programs that promote mental health, stability, and resilience for people of all ages.
