Families throughout the community are invited to join Music Compound members and staff for the music school's 2026 Spring Fling. Highlights will include live music, karaoke, a food truck and family-friendly fun, along with the opportunity to learn about area camps, classes and other child-focused programs. The Spring Fling is free and open to the public, and takes place on Friday, February 27 from 4-7 p.m. at Music Compound (775 Bell Rd., Sarasota). 

This event is being co-produced by Music Compound and numerous other family-oriented businesses that will offer giveaways to enhance the fun. Music Compound will also be offering chances to win free summer camp sessions.

"As parents consider their options for summer programs and activities, we invite them to attend our Spring Fling to learn more about the resources available in our community," said Music Compound founder and CEO Jenny Townsend. “Of course, they are welcome to check out Music Compound’s summer program as well, which offers half- and full-day options for students in grades 1 through 12.”

Some of the businesses slated to attend will offer activities such as dance, theater, sewing/fashion, nature-based play and learning, art and more.

Private and group lessons are available on a wide variety of instruments as well as programs such as Kidz Rock (ages 4-7), Junior Rockers (ages 8-11), ukulele and guitar groups (ages 8-12), the Musical Theatre Program (ages 7-14), Songwriting Series (ages 15+), Adult Jam Sessions, the Gulf Coast New Horizons Music program for adults ages 50+, and more.
