Golden Girls Solutions Presents: Parkinson’s Caregiver Workshop Set for January 14, 2026, 11AM-2PM

SARASOTA, FL — Golden Girls Solutions is proud to announce a free, hands-on Parkinson’s Caregiver Workshop taking place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota, located at 6400 Edgelake Drive, Sarasota, FL 34240. Hosted in partnership with Golden Girls Solutions, Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s, and Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sarasota, this workshop is designed to empower, educate, and provide practical skills to caregivers supporting a loved one with Parkinson’s disease. Attendees will receive expert guidance from physical, occupational, and speech therapists, as well as a licensed dietician, to strengthen confidence and enhance daily care at home.

Event Highlights Include:

•Safe techniques for transfers, mobility, and movement

•Understanding and managing dementia, mood changes, and hallucinations

•Nutrition guidance and strategies for addressing diet-related challenges

•Adapting to Parkinson’s-related speech and swallowing changes

•Plus additional hands-on caregiver skill building

A complimentary lunch will be provided, and free respite care for loved ones is available through ActivAge Sarasota (advance arrangements required). Valet parking provided.
