Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast invites the community to Party for Potential, the organization’s inaugural fundraising event on Friday, February 20, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Michael’s On East in Sarasota. Proceeds will support the organization’s one-to-one youth mentoring programs throughout the region.

The evening will feature high-energy dueling piano entertainment, chef-curated food stations, a live auction, and inspiring stories that showcase the life-changing power of mentorship. Funds raised will help recruit, train, and support volunteer mentors and expand access to mentoring for children currently waiting to be matched.

More than half of the youth served by Big Brothers Big Sisters face challenges such as poverty, academic struggles, or limited access to positive role models. A caring, consistent mentor helps bridge those gaps, building confidence, strengthening academic success, and preparing young people for brighter futures.
