SARASOTA, Fla. — Suncoast Club at Prestancia, a Suncoast Senior Living community, will host "Don't Get Tricked," a free senior scam prevention presentation by the Sarasota Sheriff's Office, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.

The presentation will address common tactics used to target older adults, including fraudulent emails, deceptive phone calls, and other misleading schemes. Deputies will explain how these scams operate and share practical steps residents and families can take to protect themselves and their loved ones.

The program is free and open to the public, though seating is limited and RSVPs are requested in advance.
