SARASOTA, FL – June 18, 2025 — Team Tony Cancer Foundation is proud to announce the return of its 8th Annual Gran Fondo Sarasota, an inspiring cycling fundraiser bringing together riders, supporters, and local businesses in support of cancer fighters, survivors, and caregivers across Florida’s Suncoast.

This year’s Gran Fondo Sarasota will take place on Sunday, November 23rd, offering cyclists of all levels the opportunity to ride for a cause through the scenic landscapes of Sarasota County. Participants can choose from multiple route options—each designed to challenge, inspire, and unite riders in purpose and community. After the activities, attendees can enjoy music, great food and family-friendly fun.

Gran Fondo Sarasota is more than just a ride—it’s a powerful movement that fuels Team Tony’s mission of providing free peer-to-peer support and resources to those navigating a cancer diagnosis on our Suncoast.

In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Team Tony Cancer Foundation is calling on the community to make this year’s Gran Fondo Sarasota the biggest yet. The nonprofit invites riders, sponsors, volunteers, and local bike shops and cycling clubs to join the movement and help raise critical funds for those facing cancer.

Location: Florida Farm Bureau Pavilion, 7289 Palmer Blvd, Sarasota FL 34240
Routes: Participants of all skill levels can choose to ride the 5-mile Cruiser ride, 33-mile Piccolo, 62.5-mile Medio or 100-mile Gran distance.

Registration & Info: All proceeds benefit the Team Tony Cancer Foundation. Registration is $20 for the Cruiser Ride, $33 for the Piccolo, $62 for the Medio and $100 for the Gran.
