This May marks an exciting milestone for families in Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch with the grand opening of a brand-new The Little Gym location—bringing a fresh, dynamic space dedicated to children’s growth, confidence, and joy.

Designed for kids from as young as 4 months up to 12 years old, The Little Gym offers a unique blend of physical activity and developmental learning. Through a structured yet fun curriculum, children build strength, coordination, and flexibility while also gaining essential life skills like listening, teamwork, and independence.

Jessica Kriby, together with her husband Tom and 2 sons, are beyond excited to bring this to the area.  Jessica is a former director of The Little Gym in Minnesota and has been an elementary school teacher since 2012 in Manatee County. In addition to teaching at Rowlett Academy, owning a TLG is a dream come true! After being an educator AND a coach for many years, she has so much faith in the 50 years that TLG has been operating because of its commitment to helping and teaching the WHOLE child!

The WHOLE CHILD approach is what sets this new Sarasota–Lakewood Ranch location apart from others. Each class is carefully crafted to support not just physical milestones, but also social and emotional development. Whether it’s a baby taking their first assisted roll, a toddler gaining balance, or an older child mastering new gymnastics skills, every achievement is celebrated.

Families can expect a welcoming, positive environment led by highly trained instructors who know how to make learning feel like play. The programs are designed to be engaging and non-competitive, ensuring that every child feels encouraged and supported at their own pace. In addition to weekly classes, the new location will offer birthday parties, camps, and special events—making it a go-to destination for fun and enrichment all year round.

Doors open this May, and the community is invited to come explore, play, and grow together. Whether you're a first-time parent or looking for new ways to keep your child engaged, The Little Gym promises a place where confidence is built one smile, one stretch, and one small success at a time.

Classes are offered Monday-Thursdays and Saturdays with morning, afternoon and evening options. Special events and bday parties offered Friday-Sunday.
